It may not feel gross to her but it does to me! Ew. I hate how physically attracted they are with no basis.

I really don't appreciate the petty "teasing". She's cute when she's mad so he wants to make her mad? Nope.
This dude is unpleasant.

The story makes even less sense. If she moved to Michigan to be with her man and he was on the same team as Beckett and she had originally been looking for Beckett when she met this dude, why don't they know each other?

I'm puzzled. If he and her husband were teammates, why haven't they seen each other in adulthood?
Also, why must this start with instalust!? It's a romance but they don't have to be soooo horny for each other.

Introducing the "hero" by having him be self-centered does not win me over. And I'm not one over by his lusting after her either. And not recognizing her as someone he knows.

I get that. I think the book does provide good depth as it goes, but the instalust when they see each other again is strong.

I just cannot stand when folks are fawning over how hot the other person is... without much other conversation or time together. Also, how has he not seen her since she was 15 when she went to the party specifically to see him... and then married his teammate!? It's such a weird plothole (I think you mentioned it in your review, too?)
Elizabeth wrote: "I think this is where being a bit demi ma..."That bothered me too! I also couldn't figure out how they hadn't seen each other or how he didn't know she was married to the guy with a kid! I forgave it though because of how I connected lol.
