Waaaaaay too much time spent on 1066 and the Conquest of England. It's a story often told, and told better, elsewhere. Until now, it's all about the Dukes and Kings. The upcoming chapters are on the society. Hopefully, it contains some different or differently presented info.

What this is, is a collection of articles seemingly meant for students and others doing research to get the maximum amount of facts, names and dates in the shortest fashion.
As is so typical, it's the Normans in England which interests an English author most. Yeah yeah yeah Normandy and S. Italy...but the really super important fascinating mega point is English history, isn't it?

Rather dry until we hit around the year 1000. Normandy was a model for how William and his lot would alter Anglo-Saxon England into Anglo-Norman England, both politically and ecclesiastically.

A look at not only the Normans in Normandy/Conquest of England, but also the dynasty in Italy and the Two Sicilies. (Not an overview book. An actual history)
