Nobody understands how badly I want to like. consume this book, Reading it is not enough I need it between my teeth. It makes me feel so vulnerable in unexpected ways, Andrew's quiet violence gives the narration such a raw feeling. Body horror intertwined with forest and fairy-tale elements is something I find vastly underrated so to see it so well done is incredibly refreshing.

Unironically went out and bought this book already (it was so pretty AND on sale how could I not) because I know this is an annotate reread already.

I think Thomas should listen to post-hardcore, it would make him worse but there's a beauty in that. Andrew would be a third wave emo fan and I think this would give him another bout of anxiety in relation to music subgenre based conversation.

It is crazy that I have almost cried already just listening to descriptors of Thomas and getting flashbacks. Oh how I will be wrecked.
