Don't know how anyone can deal with what she is dealing with. All that loss, the displacement... How can one not just lie down and never get out of the bed?

Done with first quarter of the book. The pages were many yet the story flowed smoothly. Feels like I had only just begun. Not enough Snapper so far.

Just a page turned into two chapters. Need I say more?

I've known about the author for a while, thanks to her presence on YT.

I started with the sample as a curiosity. I ended up reading the sample in 20 minutes and knew I had to buy the two books. I don't know if I will try her other series yet, but who knows. I can always try another sample.

That said, the names are so difficult to keep separate. The story is flowing really well. Love Snapper
