If you neglect rebuilding your ships after long voyages the timbers ROT AND SINK AND HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE CAN DIE!! That is INSANE. That is like not getting your car tuned up but 10000000x more consequences. Omg im gonna be posting updates every three pages for this book because THERE IS SO MUCH STUFF TO LEARN ABOUT SHIPS

Ok WHAT. Shipworms (growing up to a foot???) that can eat thru wooden hulls!?! Beetles and termites also boring thru man-of-war ships!? Whaaaaaaat omg these are things i did not know about ships
