Miscommunication trope strikes again and I’m reminded of how much I hate it

I understand she messed up by sleeping with bum, but the fact that he’s so self absorbed in his own lack of confidence and refuses to actually see and understand why she doesn’t and can’t be in a relationship is annoying me.
