How can this be both boring and stupid?!

A twenty six year old woman being treated and characterized like a child and the main couple who have NO CHEMISTRY probably going to fuck TWICE in the FIRST 100 PAGES…..


This is going so well.

I know I asked for this. I bought this book with my hard earned cash KNOWING that it was gonna be shit. But this? THIS?! This is too much, I do not wish to be your strongest soldier any longer. Why god, are they stupid? Why are they doing this OUT OF NO WHERE? Why did my girlfriend pick this book out of all the ones I presented her with? I know I am a faithless heathen god, but did I deserves this torture?

If there is one thing I hate more than anything in these dark romance novels, it’s when they use mental health as an excuse for awful behavior or a way to drive the plot forward. Like am I supposed to suddenly care about this girl who’s been slut shamed and called crazy for the whole three pages she’s been physically on now all of a sudden attempting?! Like what?? I don’t get it at all!!!

What is with every male lead with a Z name and living in wear houses? Like is there something I don’t know? Ain’t that suspicious??? Like at all???
