Why would LJ Smith do this to Damon? Like, the forced kissing scene with Matt was borderline him trying to force them to assault the other an it just kind of felt out of place for this “young adult” romance mystery novel… also bring back Stefan. Where tf my man at!!!

So far, this book feels so out of character for Damon and I do realize there is something that pricked his neck and is now making him act a certain way, but the way she seemingly describes Stefan and Damon’s relationship is not the way the previous book ended off. At the end of the series, I thought they had found their brotherly love and care for one another but this book insinuates different.
