Have been a while since my last update on this book, I put it down for a while due to other time commitments but I am very glad I picked it back up
The continuous story feels like a lesson in disguise, constant update and new chapters unfolding. More characters explained and introduced with their influence not yet fully known. I have just got to the part surrounding Brazil and Cooke diplomacy with the viceroy.

Just finished part 1, the life of a tree and the historical abundance of oak trees in 17th century England doesn’t seem like the most interesting topic but Moore makes this feel exciting. It feels interesting as you know this acorn that grew 100 years before was destined to be on one of the greatest naval ships to ever sail the seas !!!
