umbrella interiority—between the self and the outer world. as the origin purpose of an umbrella was to give shade for its occupants, then to protect them from rain later. it’s about a man took shelter from the sky—so, i assume the walls were different things which mean, if they’re standing without roof—or someone facing them from the ‘outer world’ (under the open skies), that’s exteriority! that is.
