Terrie Robinson
is finished
A most enjoyable introduction to Stanley Tucci, even though this is not his first book. I love how his thoughts flitter from one thought to another, and all things unexpected. A year filled with family and friends, working and playing, cooking and eating, and whether he is traveling or at home, it all circles around the love great food cooked simply!

The two best parts of this book, for me, have been:
1.) Listening to Stanley Tucci's amazing and distinctive voice!
2.) His perspective on a variety of topics that pop into his head...
That voice! That voice! This an individual who has great passion for the simple things in life. I'll disclose some of those delights in my review...not all, of course!

I’m not finished…
Expecting more recipes—the first was on p.53—and, a cocktail. I don’t drink, but it sounds refreshing even though I don’t partake. I wish there were pictures, as I’m a visual foodie, OR a more detailed description of what he's eating. More often than not, I have no idea what it is from the name of the dish. Still I share his love of great food that is prepared well and served “simply”!

I’ve been a Stanley groupie for years. When I saw you were reading this book, was looking forward to your review, Terrie. I’ve watched several documentaries as well as movies, and he such a fun and pleasant guy. I’ll keep my eyes open for this book. Sounds fun, thx. Carol
You are a smart lady, Carol, and an obvious Foodie! I purchased a used hard copy for a steal, so look around. I'm working on my review now...
