Idk why but the dancing for me felt like a dirtier version of Benedict and Sofie (Bridgerton) dancing from the beginning of season 4.
There was also somme deep talks but I wasn’t really paying attention and so i really didn’t understand them.

Then you have the straborn, mortals that are made divine. How do they relate? I don’t really get it. But now we know for certain that Thonre is there for Calista.

We have some world building people!!!
The book is nearly done and now you’re just starting with telling how the great war happend and what life was like before. If the book started with this information. You could’ve had a more compelling story that has more depth. The way it’s done makes sense and explains the fucked up society of the hyhborns but still it could’ve been done better.
