Idk why but the dancing for me felt like a dirtier version of Benedict and Sofie (Bridgerton) dancing from the beginning of season 4.
There was also somme deep talks but I wasn’t really paying attention and so i really didn’t understand them.

I clocked she would go to Maven, but I didn’t really understand everything from there conversation. The hyhborn chose to make the cleastials, but why I don’t get. Then you have the straborn, mortals that are made divine. How do they relate? I don’t really get it. But now we know for certain that Thonre is there for Calista.

We have some world building people!!!
The book is nearly done and now you’re just starting with telling how the great war happend and what life was like before. If the book started with this information. You could’ve had a more compelling story that has more depth. The way it’s done makes sense and explains the fucked up society of the hyhborns but still it could’ve been done better.

Love Bastian, everybody needs a friend like that. And his dynamic with Lis is cute.
Naomi and Lis’s relationship is nice, but should be more. In there circumstances i woud think they woud be more bonded/ they woud have more scenes together.

This was a fun scene, I really enjoy hyper unrealistic scene like this where they talk about serious shit while a lot of shenanigans are happening and I’m gonna keep it at that😉.
Ps Claude is smarter then he seems like i expected. If there was more backstory and world building in the beginning i woud have loved to hate Claude and i woud be more invested in the political drama.

This was a cute chapter, the little digs at each other was expected and enjoyed.
Claude knows a lot of shit but acts dum, can’t wait for his big reveal, i don’t have the brain capacity right now to process what it will be but we will see.
They will be staying for a bit so i expect that the more intimate bits wil happen during the festivities.
