Whew. Scholfield writes action sequences so sharp and visceral, you can't look away no matter how much you want to. This is a gorgeous book, until it isn't, and that feels very much on purpose.

Well, that's one confession, and I really enjoyed seeing Nemoira's arc from the outside. Honestly, I'm really enjoying just about everything about this book.
