The way that the chapters are divided up in this book is so freaking weird. The analogies are long, there need to be fewer or the analogies need to be more concise.

great analogy of a parent keep yelling at a kid but then realises he's just a child and shouldnt be subjected to such adult standards. it's easy to find faults in people. it's better to understand and empathise with them. intriguing exploration of 2 underrated human needs: desire to be great and desire to feel important. tap into these two needs.

this insufferable man is right. He made a really good point on how criticism will create resentments and wounds the pride of another person.. Therefore, to get things your way, utilize positive reinforcement. Make it sound like it ultimately benefits the person that you're speaking to.
