You don't think about the logistics of having such a big event in a smallish town. Not only of where to house everyone but how to feed them. Private citizens, social clubs, and churches all came together to help out, and even then, they had to get help from St. Louis a few hours away. It's just crazy to think about.

Last week I visited the Churchill museum on the campus of Westminister College in Fulton MO, where he gave his famous Iron Curtain speech. I found this book in the gift shop. It's about the visit and everything leading up to it. Can't wait to read more!
