rereading for the sequel …. i have to say i’m sooo much more sat & enjoying it this time around now that i know what to expect. if you want a thoughtful dystopia, this one ain’t it. i wish this wasn’t even classified as dystopian bc its insulting to the genre.

if you want a generally well written futuristic sci-fi romance, this is a solid one.

also now that i know what AI writing looks like, this isn’t.

the last 100 pages has certainly been an improvement — why couldnt the whole book be like this LOL

also know exactly what the twist about them is gonna be and it was obvious since chapter 2… please tell me it was supposed to be obvious

the streets are saying Dani Francis could be a pen name for a famous author… well i hope whoever Dani Francis actually is knows that this book sucks

genuinely one of the least likable main characters i’ve read in a god damn minute omg please give her some character development before i rip my hair out
