I am now realizing how important the Book of Sirach is to understand the Gospel of John - especially on the topic of the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. I must indulge my Lectio Divina more on the Book of Sirach during this crucial time of my MTS final studies. :) + JMJ +

That link with the Parable of Lazarus in the bosom of Father Abraham in Luke and the link with the Resurrection of Lazarus in John = well done = I had never thought about that. Great going on the essay concerning linking Elijah, Elisha and Daniel 7:13 with what I mentioned previously in Luke and John. Nice. Good. :) + JMJ +

Patriarchal analysis of John 8 in line with the previously read Num 5:11-31 and odd association with (of all people) Prophet Jeremiah in chapter 17 - especially that really out of the way Jeremiah 17:13 - but okay = passable! That Numbers 5:11-31 always makes me nauseous - not because I have committed adultery but because I have Sjogren's Syndrome. ;) + JMJ +
