I am wildly uncertain about this book, but I guess I'll finish it now. It's very sprightly, strong character work, but it's just... the "normality" it leans on as the base to leap into the wondrous is so alien to me, from the references to the priorities. The cultural difference is so deep I can't even find words to explain what feels weird or why.
