The constant pop culture references is taking me out of my enjoyment of reading this book. I think it shines in its more heartfelt somber moments such as the background chapters on Cyrus’ parents. Do we really need three famous drummers named? Am I supposed to clap because Death Grips was mentioned?

i have never witnessed someone absolutely despising a book the way that you do. very excited to see you finish the book bahaha
