I feel as though when I was reading this for the first time, I couldn't really see the dark humour as well. Listening to the audiobook is highlighting the ironic or dryly humorous lines. (Also the New York accents for dialogue are great)

Hes so self obsessed LORD and so full of himself and psychotic god bateman is such a fun character to hate
