getting a bit bored now

i’m early in the book but so far i feel like the main character has tried so hard to conform to the ideals of women place by society that she’s began to present male patriarchal tendencies. shes tried so hard to be effortlessly perfect as a wife and a woman that she’s become obsessive and controlling. she’s so possessive of her husband that he doesn’t even have his own identity. this book has sm potential
