I hate to leave low star reviews, but I feel like I have to in this case. It started out great, but fell short. In a vampire story I expected some violence. Not a huge fan of it where it went. (So don't want to write a spoiler.) It was unrealistic to me and the book ended abruptly and as mentioned before BDSM came out of nowhere at the start of book two.
