I think modern day mafia boss romance writers should take inspiration from Luigi Vampa and have their mafia bosses just constantly reading the most intellectual books

Also!!! I’m so close to being done!!! I feel like I’ve been reading this book for a million years 😵‍💫

Dantes: I’ve got a list of names and yours in red, underlined I check it once, then I check it twice

One revenge down, 2 more to go 😈

This is why you never give endless funds to a bitch with a vendetta cause tell me why Dante’s just bought Villefort’s old mansion where he murdered his illegitimate son just to torture him 💔 😔

This book is the “it’s a small world after all” song in story form

I know it would make an already long book way longer but I want a few chapters that follow Vampa and Teresa on their Bonnie and Clyde adventures so bad

When I started reading this book knowing almost nothing about it except that it is a highly revered French classic about revenge the last thing I expected to be in this book is an extremely longggg chapter about Edmond doing shrooms with a Baron

Every time I pick this book up I feel like I made so much progress in the story and then I realize there’s still like 1000 pages left to go 💀

France is so messy
