i can't remember how this ended up on my to-read shelf but had a quick look and suddenly i'm 15% through. it's a bit strange. not thematically, so far i imagine the author is probably an fairly nondescript 60+ american woman with a husband, kids, extended family, traditional lifestyle. it's unusual more in how it's structured. i wouldn't say i 'like' this but it's unfamiliar in a way that's intriguing
