Jon comes to the hospital with a twisted ankle, she fixes him up, he then kisses her out of the blue and she (the only dr on staff at the hospital) leaves early to go talk to him. they declare their love and then immediately are going at it. keep in mind she was in the middle of doing autopsies

they just saved this child from her kidnapper and Rachel is tending to her wounds. she asks Jon to go tell the mother that the child is alive and safe and he chooses THAT moment to try and bring up their potential relationship ???? go die

why were you making out with a 17 year old. this man had served in the army and then been a police man for a few years, but he's almost having sex with his dead brother's sister after she comes home from a high school party. girl what was with the 80s and these situations.

i assume by the way they are painting this man as her surrogate big brother that the two of them will get together at some point in this book. the part where he thinks about how wrong their age gap is was awesome to read. i love how they’re making him redeemable because he gets it, guys. he knew she was 15 w a crush, but he couldn’t just NOT go visit. she was too attractive. remember that mouth? ugh weirdo
