Doomed to only ready bad books this year apparently

I swear he has mentioned meditating and looking inside yourself like 3 different times in 3 different chapters. Girl you could've just written one big chapter instead of a bunch of tiny ones that say the same thing it's so surface level. Also, the formatting in this hard cover is crazy we didn't need massive blank margins and font just to chunk up the pages - I KNOW what you're doing and I hate it.

This book is very hyped up by people who think they are creatives but all they do is like ... Pretentiously whine... So far this is a reminder that Rick Rubin is kind of a fraud and Big Magic remains a better book in creativity. This was recommended to me (which feels a bit baffling so far) so I will finish it but ... My god he has literally just said words the entire time nothing of actual substance at all.
