Really like this edition, has both the arabic text and the translation. The translation is solid so far.

Ghazali is an icon "The imbeciles among the masses stand detached from the infamy of this abyss..." "When I perceived this vein of folly throbbing within these dimwits..." doesnt capture how hilarious it is in arabic lol

ajwadreads Imam Ghazali is a giant of his time and continues to be for many. But it is important to understand that while he criticized philosophers and logicians of his time for inheriting Greek Logic, he also continued with the same. His arguments are based on the same method he criticized other philosophers for using. Indeed, this is his great work, but thought progresses. While the world questions the reliability of Aristotelian logic, the ummah continues to use it. I think the Quran presents far better arguments than any deductive reasoning. Imam Farahi's Hujjaj ul Quran points at them.

I take a different position to you on the matter as I think there’s nothing wrong with Aristotelian logic and I’m v fond of the falasifah and the Greek philosophers. I respect Alghazali for his stance and I understand why he used Aristotlian logic.

I also do respect and am fond of the other side like Ibn tayymiah, despite my disagreement.
