I kind of wish there were resources to go along with the audiobook. Maps or something. This is A LOT to keep straight

Very interesting hearing actual archaeological evidence for matriarchal society & matrilineal descent b/c that’s what always made the most sense to me since the child is literally coming out of the woman’s body. Don’t get wrong, I love my dad, he’s one of the rare good men, but I wish society could return to this way of life where it sounded like there was more equality & a focus on protecting the children

Whooey, this book is a doozy. I can already tell I am going to have to take my time listening to this audiobook on 1.5x so I can fully follow along. I’m trying to learn more about history and classics and I feel like this is a good stepping off point since I have always wondered why crediting women for creation is seen as such a bad thing when that is what are bodies are literally made to do
