reading out of order
covert joy - this is very different from clarice novels. it was an adorable and beautiful short story and not at all hard to follow, lol. i feel like i could read this before bed and not be kept up by insomnia and ive never read lispector before bed and been able to sleep before. it’s generally a terrible idea to read lispector before sleep.
