Accordingly, the 10 Commandments, as promulgated from Mount Sinai, must be considered at least in a twofold point of view – namely, as the law of Christ, or the law as a rule of life to believers; and as the law, as it is the matter of a covenant of works to unregenerate sinners.

The law as a covenant says “Do and Live”. The Law as a rule from the hand of Christ says “Live and do”.
