Melissa Black’s Reviews > The Princess Bride Deluxe Limited Edition: S. Morgenstern's Classic Tale of True Love and High Adventure > Status Update

Huh.

Jesus.

I too dread the thought of marriage

The screenplay being born out of a pneumonia-fuelled fever dream makes so much sense actually. Also the little detail about Goldman having the book read to him when he was sick as a kid and thats where that comes from.

Im still in the introduction and even that is incredibly charming. And apparently princess bride is at least somewhat based on real historical events? You learn something every day
