Welp I am officially switching to my self-made MTL because I just did a comparison (yay for having two kindles) and aside from continuity errors, the fan translation just omits parts of paragraphs! Like the bit about Zhao Ran being left handed. Ugh. At least now I can put percentages in my updates since the MTL is the entire novel. I’m not too happy about this but I’m also reading Po Yun as a MTL and it’s fine

Why is the MTL better AGAIN. Fan TL - Yu An thinking back on how Zhao Ran mentioned how people with physical disabilities can use cores. I’m like wtf he never said that? Turns out the fan TL previously translated “people with physical disabilities/impairments” as “human mutants”. IT’S IN THE SAME CHAPTER! Also that thing about kicking a severed head aside - it wasn’t severed! He didn’t cut it off!AAA

[chapter 3] this went from “I gotta kill this guy” to “I gotta fondle this guy’s muscles” real quick. Also, Zhao Ran getting called “pink guy” reactivated me like a fucking sleeper agent, bringing back old Filthy Frank videos out of my subconscious

[chapter 3] I like how the MC’s reaction to anything new and unexpected is a violent attack. Little chaos goblin.

[chapter 1] Aight that was hands down one of the best opening chapters ever.

Idk how I’m going to update this, since I only have chapters and not page numbers. I might just put a random page or number and then write down what chapter I’m on like I did above ahah.
