Fun fact: Upgraded features the slowest burn I've ever written. Anyone who's read my work before knows I usually like for my characters to get right to it (literally), so it was an incredible challenge to make these two resist each other for so long. There are so many delicious moments of tension woven into the first half of the story. I'm officially a slow burn believer after writing Evangeline and Alaric's HEA!
