I’m so glad you’re liking it so far! Uketsu genuinely became one of my favorite authors after reading Strange Pictures! The writing style is exactly what I look for in horror ^^

The writing style is exactly what I look for in horror ^^"It is so refreshing! I am finding myself getting really burnt out with and frequently let down by the endings of a lot of horror lately. These books go about it in such a calm but deeply unsettling way and I am 100% invested. Absolutely going on my favorite authors list. They remind me a little bit of a Sayaka Murata story in their overall tone and I’ve never read anything of hers I didn't immediately love.
