Ugh, such a chore to get through. Interesting ideas, yet awful writing. My eyes perked up at the possiblity of vampire sea horse monkeys, but no slice, they stayed in the background.

Ugh, so much telling. And what teenager refers to journaling as reflecting? Yes, there was something magical about that circus tiger smelling like sandalwood, and now I must go to my room and reflect on the experience. Interesting ideas so far, but the writing is pretty bad. Some teens have told me it gets better, so I'm crossing my fingers.
