I had put the wrong Sandman book here wrt what I'd be reading. This is the correct one, and I must say, it's both evocative and original. I might have repeated content problems with this, so will just stop reading. But, it really depends: I mostly loved Lexx, and I had repeated problems with that show. Context matters a lot, and sometimes I can overlook things if there are a lot of good things around the bad ones.

For sure, this is a bizarre book; if a comic could be written stream-of-consciousness, this seems like it. I don't like a few of the things in it, but it's still good overall, is reminiscent of the old-style horror movies, like the Hammer films, and other weird movies from the 60s and 70s, all of which are films that I tended to really love.
