The plot thickens…

Made some good progress on this while I drank an iced chai latte at Between Rounds in Manchester. I’d never been there before, but it was an alright drink and a pretty good couch to sit at and do my reading. I’m really starting to connect with the main character, Ralph. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Had to look up the word truculent. It means “quick to argue or oppose; aggressively defiant.”
