It is incredible the shit that a male sci-fi writer with no science training and experience listed anywhere in his bio information can get away with, and how he’s believed and called a scientist (WTF!?) and an expert in real science (WTF!?), and yet a female sci-fi writer like I am--my real science knowledge and training is routinely doubted and ignored.

You could stick an excerpt from a fucking Einstein paper inside a fiction book and that excerpt will not be doing real science and will not mean that excerpt is real science, and most definitely wouldn’t mean that fiction book in the overall is “real science.” That’s just impossible. That just isn’t science or doing science; context 100% matters here.

Anyone ridiculously braggadocio declaring that he does Einstein’s and Newton’s real physics work as “hobbies” is full of shit. But many people in the world bow down at his feet as if he’s an oracle of real science. Unfuckingbelievable. Talk about an ego the size of ten Jupiters stapled together--but it works. People believe, and in my opinion, all because he’s male. If a woman sci-fi writer with real science knowledge and training demonstrated an ego even a tenth of that size, she’d be laughed at and doubted.

Genius-by-penis: have a penis, easily considered capable of genius, especially in anything with the word “science” in it; don’t have a penis, not even considered capable of genius, especially in anything with the word science in it.

We’re living in The Wizard Of Oz Age, and very few people are opening up the curtain. So many won’t even acknowledge it exists and has been staring them right in the face.
