It took me to the book 5 to realize this is the book about systemic racism. If Wizard messes up this is because his inherit flaw. If Chosen messes up - this is because they were evil.
Moving up Hump felt not only personal responsibility and pressure, but also for all the practitioners.
Same goes about lvl 7 glass ceiling.
