Really enjoying it. Feel like there’s a lot to wrap up in 100 pages with the way Herbert writes. Not a complaint because his writing style is really good, just hope that he’s able to conclude it in a satisfying way. Probably won’t be as good as the first book, but I think this will be great nonetheless

Adding onto that last note, I’m curious where this whole conspiracy will go. I know Paul is supposed to be a ‘fallen angel’ archetype (even though he was going to be the leader of the Jihad since the first book), and there are hints of that already in his way of rule and how he disregards religious practices on arrakis. Just hoping that there is enough time to flesh this out properly and not rush it.
