I can’t be more appalled at how she describes the killing of all these animals. Do not read chapter Last Dat at River Cabins!

I am having a visceral reaction reading about the elk and bison. I didn’t pick up a book about a fox that seemed like a friendly story, to hear about brutal killings of all these other animals. This author is nuts and is definitely on the spectrum.

This is the story in a nutshell from her one sentence. “ I stood at the Riverbank cradling a ceramic mug with puce glaze as iridescent as a pee-filled dint in a buffalo pie”. I looked up 2 words gave up on the buffalo pie and was grossed out by pee…
