This crew is much different than the Belgica. Able to keep their wits about them as they winter in the arctic. With fear of being stuck in the ice small cracks seem to appear near the ship. The pressures that come with the ice floes begin to grip the ships hull

We start out in the middle of the endurance sinking and men needing to get aboard for last minute supplies. Slowly getting to know characters and backstories. The Endurance was supposed to be accompanied by De Gerlache of The Begica. The first polar expedition. The Endurance was given the green light to proceed with the expedition despite global tensions during this time
