Why did Awad write this sequel/prequel/parelliquel? It adds NOTHING to the story so far. Instead of adding depth to the characters or enlightening the reader with their perspective, they feel more shallow than ever before! Caricatures of themselves, really!
The only interesting part is Aerius, Frankenstein-like creature. His perspective is quite an interesting writing experiment.
