This COULD be a cool Frankenstein story if this had been the theme of the first book and centered around the actual creature. This COULD be a cool parody of artists' self-importance and how your own creation can outsmart you if the book didn't take itself so seriously. This COULD be a cool horror-comedy if it didn't try to be all metaphorical and pretentious.

Why did Awad write this sequel/prequel/parelliquel? It adds NOTHING to the story so far. Instead of adding depth to the characters or enlightening the reader with their perspective, they feel more shallow than ever before! Caricatures of themselves, really!
The only interesting part is Aerius, Frankenstein-like creature. His perspective is quite an interesting writing experiment.
