Oh my goodness somebody GETS the very specific experience of being an undiagnosed autistic teenager surrounded by charismatic Christians who daily "hear from the Lord" and "feel His presence" and you feel like a failure so you beg God to "pour out his Spirit on you" and when you don't get overwhelming positive feelings that make life easy you feel like a failing (possibly unsaved) Christian.
