after a fervent fixation on the movie I just had to get the book. No rocky yet but grace's internal monologue and his dynamic with stratt are enough to keep me fed for a while. As much as I AM enjoying it so far I feel as though andy weir's prose could use some work. Yes this is all from grace's perspective but he's a scientist, not a toddler. I'm sure he'd be just a TAD more eloquent

fishing mission's less emotional than in the movie. grace and rocky have not hugged ONCE. this is highly upsetting. in any case I feel as though the book is lacking in the grace/rocky relationship development department which ISN'T TO SAY there is no focus on them at all; there is, but it is not enough for my gluttonous arse
