PLS tell me it can be read as a standalone more or less. because i just read book 2 of alessandra’s calluvia series and of course it’s no book 6 like undone, but i didn’t struggle with anything whatsoever. ksar and seyn were just too sexy for me to care about much else i guess 😌

Undone had some great moments, but I didn't like how it ended. Feral is by far my favorite, followed by Illicit. Then Unnatural, and then the rest.

@jen i’m fully in my AH era so feral is 100% happening! something about her writing just does it for me (and the needy clingy men) (don’t forget the needy clingy codependent men)

I've read Calluvia's Royalty in a really random order which probably didn't help with continuity and getting to know the characters. Some books worked better for me
Book 2 solid 4 stars: betrothed at birth, enemies as teens, what's not to love 😍 Book 4, I get your point, it's a slow burn throughout and super slow at the beginning. I can see why it might be a hard pass for some with the age gap, power dynamics as student teacher ( which here is master and acolyte) YET, it captured my attention and hit the spot ⭐⭐🌟✨💫
