My goodness Liliana went through a lot.

Many things can be true at once; Liliana was a young girl discovering herself, traveling & learning who she wants to be. She could also have led people who cared for her on, acted kind of like a mean girl. She was also the victim of abuse & frightened and she could have been forced to cut ties with people.

The grief the author feels is front & center in this memoir. I truly hope she gets the answers she’s seeking.

The grief in this is so gripping. It’s such a difficult read, I’m having to take breaks. The discussion on femicide is gut wrenching.
