So far, I’d say this is my least favorite from Ashley Poston. She’s my queen and I adore everything she does, but this is not the strongest of her magical realism romances so far. Feels too much like we’re trying to write annotatable quotes rather than immersing the reader in the story. The magic in this one is also a bit… off. Let’s see how it ends though! Still having a good time though 🩷💛🩵
